EBS 2009: Joelle Chassard Speaks To Blogactiv

On Friday 27th March, Joelle Chassard spoke to Blogactiv. Ms Chassard was taking part in Workshop X which was titled, “Venture capital and clean tech: is Europe missing out?” at EBS 2009.

Joelle Chassard is Manager of the Carbon Financing Unit, Environment Department at the World Bank in Washington. She was a very interesting speaker with a very extensive knowledge of the many aspects of the carbon trading market.

The session discussed many aspects of ethical investment, clean tech, venture capital and the impact that the financial crisis is having on funding opportunities.
